Assign Clients To Trainers

Choose which trainer coaches each client, and move clients between trainers.

Step By Step

  1. Open People › Clients. Who Coaches Each Client lists every client with a Trainer menu.
  2. Pick a trainer for any client. Or open a client and use Coached By.
  3. On Small Gym and up, filter by trainer and tick several clients to move them together.
  4. The client gets a short note in their chat saying who their coach is now.
  5. Unassigned clients stay with you, the owner, until you assign them.

Good To Know

  • Moving a client keeps their mesos, history, chat and check-ins.
  • When a trainer leaves, the handover moves all their clients in one go.

How It Works

Assigning decides who coaches the client day to day: the trainer sees them in their own Clients list and can message them, build mesos and review check-ins. The client sees Your Trainer in their app. Payments still go to the gym's Stripe account, whoever coaches them.

Common Questions

Can a client have two trainers?

No. Each client has one trainer at a time.

Does the client need to do anything?

No. The change is instant; they just get a note in their chat.
