Logging Joint Pain

Tell the app when a lift hurts a joint. If you have a coach, they also see it.

Step By Step

  1. In your workout, use the Joint Pain tick box at the right of the exercise's reps line.
  2. Pick how bad it was: None, Mild, Moderate or Severe.
  3. The app adjusts next week for that exercise. If you have a coach, they get a pain report to review.

Good To Know

  • Only use it if a joint (not a muscle) actually hurt. No pain? Leave it alone.
  • Pain has its own icon and label, so it stands out.

How It Works

Mild changes nothing but is noted in History so you can spot a pattern. Moderate keeps next week's weight, reps and sets the same instead of progressing; Moderate or worse two weeks running suggests a swap. Severe drops one set, lowers the weight and offers a swap straight away. It only affects that exercise and is switched off in deload weeks.

Common Questions

Should I keep training through pain?

Pain that's sharp, swollen or lingers is worth getting checked by a professional.

Does it change other exercises?

No. Only the exercise you logged it on.
